NASA HQ Office of the CIO
Needs: The Government Information Security Reform Act (GISRA) mandates that all government agencies track Information Technology systems weaknesses and note corrective actions.
Solution: Architected, designed and built a highly secure, role-based web application that allows users from all NASA centers around the US to track, in real time, and report on system weaknesses and corrective actions in a single database application.
Technologies Utilized: Cold Fusion pages for User Interface; SQL for data access and Oracle Database software for data storage.
NASA Goddard CNE Help Desk Intranet
Needs: Redesign site to provide a unified communications framework for providing help desk support to customers.
Solution: Facilitated needs analysis with Help Desk team; designed the information architecture to eliminate redundant/conflicting content; conducted interactive usability testing with end-users; designed the site to comply with Section 508 accessibility requirements; established taxonomy and navigation scheme that provided customers and help desk staff with quick access to relevant content; created a Tier 0 environment that dramatically reduced the burden on the help desk staff by letting the web site be the first contact point for help.
Deepdrill Engineering Oilfield Services
DeepDrill has a strong need to consolidate as many of three web sites into a single web presence. The new web site will facilitate three distinct lines of business: Manpower, Engineering and Procurement services.
Nextium redesigned the web site architecture that is user friendly, visually appealing and well organized. You wish to keep your current branding and content (copy, graphics, Flash video, etc.) that you have and perhaps alter some of it and add more content to the site. The web site should provide an up-to-date, easy to maintain mechanism to advertise DeepDrill’s services suite.
